Bobby Ferguson, CEO of Detroit-based Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., will Continue His Father’s Legacy Thru the Homer Ferguson Foundation

The Foundation’s financial help supports needed services to feed, clothe and educate the most vulnerable of a community’s populations: the youth and the elderly.

The Homer Ferguson Foundation’s Programming supports these population groups with the “By His Grace” Thanksgiving Event; Lifting through Gifting; and a pilot program with close contact with the Michigan Department of Corrections, the Prisoner Re-entry Project.

Bobby Ferguson’s commitment to his father’s Foundation reaches not only far into the Detroit community but into places far away as well.

Haiti Earthquake Receives Unprecedented Support

The Homer Ferguson Foundation in cooperation with the Robert Shumake Foundation committed $50,000 to a month-long, radio-thon to raise their goal of 1 million dollars to benefit the relief effort in Haiti. “The major direction for these funds will go to Doctors Without Borders and the Missionary Flight International,” said Bobby Ferguson.

“These organizations have proven their commitment to the people of Haiti and have remained to support the Haitian people when other organizations have dispersed,” continued Detroit’s Bobby Ferguson.

The $50,000 committed by the two foundations covered the administrative and promotional costs for the month-long broadcast of the radio-thon. “My father would be proud to know that his company, Ferguson Enterprises was helping the Haitian people dig out from the worst catastrophe they have ever known.”
